SOLI: A Winter Discovery, Friday 23 July
Chef Santi from Voyager Estate has shared a little about the ethos of the SOLI menu with us! Did you see we’ve added a second event too?
“Winter is an amazing time in Margaret River – a quiet time of dormancy in our organically farmed vineyards, but also of warmth and connection, as we come together and celebrate the amazing seasonal produce of our region. It’s a time of earthy, winter flavours and elegant winter wines. Fire is also at play, both as a place to gather, and also as a tool to cook with. We’re excited to bring SOLI to Cabin Fever – what promises to be a winter feast to remember.”
Think: delicate local Akoya oysters with geraldton wax & finger lime, potato donughts with fresh Margaret River truffle, sous vide Abalone paired with a crisp new-release Rosé, or slow-braised beef alongside a complex, wintery Cabernet.”
Ransack the Cellar, Saturday 24 July
Ever wondered how the vintage affects a wine? Or which were the Margaret River region’s best years? You’ll find out at Ransack the Cellar, when Cape Grace founder Robert Karri-Davies and winemaker Conrad Tritt take you on a tasting adventure of the best small batch, basket pressed Cabernet releases from the vineyard’s past 15 years. You’ll explore five outstanding museum tastings (wines that have been expertly cellared for you) and discover the nuances of each vintage, while honing your tasting game.
A Night in the Caribbean Party, Saturday, 24 July
Dance and eat the night away with a balmy eve of reggae beats and Caribbean style food created by passionate chefs, all within the prison location of Eagle Bay Brewing Co. We're talking psychedelic afro-beat group Noble Kings fused with the punchiest brews in the Southern Hemisphere. Can you think of a better way to spend your winter eve? Get your beer hungry hands on the tickets now.
Fervor at Fair Harvest, Sunday 25 July
How do you feel about the freshest of ingredients, sourced as locally as possible, served in a delectable degustation style long-lunch, wrapped up in the bow of a unique location at Fair Harvest? SAME. This year we are bringing you TWO sumptuous Fervor Food events so you can watch your lunch crafted with passion before your eyes.
If that isn’t enough to entice your gourmet feast taste, this year the incredible duo will become a trio with the presence of Ovant Distillations. Warm your insides on arrival with canapes and tailor-made non/low alcohol cocktails crafted by the Ovant team, followed by a matched, four-course sit down long lunch in the beautiful Fair Harvest barn. Did someone say #bookingtickets?
Oh and a handy tip? Sign up to the waitlist for each event, and keep an eye out on socials for spare ticket announcements. There’s a few of our East Coast mates that aren’t about to get into the State, so a few tickets have become available.
